I wanted to add to my last post.
This world is God's creation, it is no accident. It is only natural God has a plan and design for our existence, this life is but the most brief part of our eternal existence. God, therefore, gives us guidelines...commandments to live by that will allow us greater freedom and happiness in this life and the life beyond. He has however also given us the gift of agency...to choose for ourselves what we will do, how we will live. He compels no one, only encourages us to use our agency wisely. While we have the agency to choose our own path we will be held accountable for the choices we make. If we live His laws and commandments we are blessed with greater happiness, if we choose to break His commandments we must suffer the consequences.
All creation is based upon eternal laws, when those laws are broken justice must be measured out. The only exception is through sincere repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to earth that He could make Atonement for the sins of those who repent and follow Him, all others will pay the price of justice themselves at some point.
This agency of man while being a gift to us also explains why there is so much suffering in the world...we bring it upon ourselves.
Our purpose here in this life is to learn to have faith in God and follow Him....AND to gain experience. To experience good and bad, joy and misery, as we experience these they will hopefully bring us to Christ. He suffered all things, He can heal a broken heart, He can help us forgive each other, He can comfort us in the loss of loved ones. His experiences in life gave Him the ability to understand what we go through so that He can succor us in all things. Do we believe it? He said we can try Him and see if He will not do it. From my own experiences in life I know He will but we must seek Him and ask Him. As mentioned He will compel no one to follow Him. To follow Him is His invitation to us..."Come, follow me".
I've not always done things as I should, I've done many things I'm not proud of, things I have needed to repent of and because of this I know as we turn our lives to Christ He will bless us and we can have greater peace and happiness in life. I encourage all to seek Jesus Christ, go on your knees and pray for guidance and faith, He will bless you and lead you to pure waters. He is a respecter of no persons, He loves all. No matter what we have done, how terrible it might be if we come to Him He can heal us. The way is not easy but well worth it.
